Hello, my name is Rafael Gonzalez, I started taking pictures in 1970 when I bought my first camera and that day I fell in love with photography. I love the freedom, the camera provides me with. It is through photography that I am most comfortable expressing myself and my creativity. The change in light and atmosphere in nature provides me with many imaginative opportunities. When taking a picture, I try to capture the light within the shadows. My choice of subject matter comes from sensitivity and intuition and the need to be part of the story happening around me. I hope that my photographs will take you to a specific moment in time and that my photos will make you understand my reality and in return, I hope it will become your own.
