Bio
I consider myself a storyteller. I've had 25 books traditionally published including several on Teddy Bears and dolls; these feature my photography. I once was internationally known as a Teddy Bear designer. I've been taking photos since I was seven and cherished my Kodak Brownie. I prefer B&W photography and consider myself a street photographer, which is difficult in the State of Maine; most of my shots include something of 'the hand of man'. That said, I delight in photographing Northern New England through southern Canada. I'm currently discovering InfraRed photography using my Leica M8 and a converted Canon PowerShot SX40 HS camera; they capture this magical 'world beyond' -- each in a distinct, different way. I'm learning to play the ukulele; I write songs and it's a drag to sing them a cappella anymore. I'm also a published poet.
