I have always taken photographs for pleasure and to exercise my creative capabilities. I have been to college twice to study photography 1974 - 1976 at Warrington College of Art & Design before I began a career in Health. 2013 - 2014 at Llandrillo College - North Wales. I have been a member of various Photographic Societies over the years when I focussed on Analogue Photography. I try to keep the analogue work going but Digital Photography is now my main media. My background in Mental Health & Intellectual Disabilities means I sometimes undertake studio work with individuals who lack confidence - I have had feedback on how empowering the experience can be. My photography like my life - is a journey. I am open to all it's wonderful possibilities. W.B. Yeats said 'The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.'
