Bio
I found myself sitting in a prison chapel after 2½ years of incarceration crying out for change, and because of my willingness to admit my brokenness, I finally cried out to God.
I was 48½ years old at that point, and it was time to grow up. This was the prayer I cried out: “Lord, I can’t, but you can, and I need help!” (Point 1) In that moment of total brokenness, with a willingness to submit my life to God, the change began. Was I serious about this walk? Not really. But I was desperate, looking for a chance, and it was there that the Holy Spirit began to help me. (Point 2)
My behaviors had led to many bad relationships and two failed marriages. Every day I needed to build myself up with lies and deception just to operate and to feel normal about what I was doing. I was a junkie and a drunk. But these were only symptoms of my soul sickness brought about by my separation from God’s true purpose for my life, I have been arrested many times, and as a result, I have been to prison and through a few drug rehab programs. (Point 3)
I understand falling, so please feel free to express the details of your life and your situation so we can have to make a decision based on the facts of your life, not on the circumstances surrounding your life. If you are looking for a situation or a circumstance to change you, we may not be able to help you. But if you are willing to admit your brokenness and a need for another chance, maybe we can help. You will need to do the work to get there. We are currently building a community of men willing to step into the lives of each other and challenge each other to change through our program of 200% accountability.
