I was born in Dueren / Germany in 1970. From 1994 - 1997 I studied photography at the institute of arts Saint-Luc in Liège / Belgium where I finished with grad./ bachelor diploma. I then worked for Magazines and Newspaper editions and I was represented world-wide by photo agency Visum. Since 2002, my work also gets international interest at touring exhibitions and photo meetings, especially my photo series about the problem of homeland destruction by open cast mining and my photo series about political refugees. The WDR , German television broadcast produced a documentary about my work. In cooperation with the Robert Bosch Stiftung (Robert Bosch donation), several interesting exhibition projects were organised in Germany, Hungary and the Czech Republic. Now I lives and works as a freelance photographer at Cologne / Germany
