As a retired educator, and as a wife, a mother, and a grandmother, I'm enjoying my days traveling to favorite people and places and taking life easier. I'll be posting my photos when I can in these still very busy, but different days.

I am an amateur photographer who loves hiking in new places and returning to old favorite places too; seeking out beautiful scenes in time and place . . . captured by camera for far longer than my memory can hold them.

I have a degree in Fine Arts/Art Practice, but I am not a professional photographer. I'm self-taught finding my way with a camera lens through an appreciation of nature and exploring scenic spaces and moments in time. My love of photography comes from my many years of enjoying the unique settings and vistas of the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California. That is where it all began for me.
