My MOTTO: "the world is my canvass and what is all around me right now, is my subject"!

Well, what to say, what to say! Not only am I new to this online community, but I am also new to the semi-pro/professional photography and graphic design world. I just recently launched my own business as a freelance photographer in the middle of December (YAY!!;), yet I market as a portrait photographer as my main source of income.

I don't desire limiting myself to one particular genre of photography. My major "thing" or motto is that the world is my canvass and what is all around me right now, is my subject. I am not typical is the sense that I own a studio and focus on posed shootings. I much prefer nature to be my backdrop and truly believe that capturing families in natural and neutral environments will allow me to take breath-taking candid and allow for few, but very emotionally effective stills and "posed" shots.

I have a very, very long way to go as far as learning the ins and the outs of not only learning the business-end of the owning a photography business, but also in becoming a semi-pro photographer with expectations from my audiences and clients. I am, of course, on FB and have my own website, but I am still working on making those more effective, so I am shy to lead anyone there. I do realize however, that leading anyone there will be my biggest source of making them more effective and provoking in all ways possible!

I am looking forward to learning here with everyone and hopefully you may learn something from me as well!
