To be part of the Media department at the FIFA World Cup 2010 helped to understand the organization of sport, and how medias are employed in professional soccer. That completed nine years of studies in Multimedia, Interactive Medias and Information Technologies. A few initiatives such as "Socialize the Performance" were intended to incentivize the creation of tools to enhance the learning experience of young soccer players, for instance with the use of technologies. Further studies (MSc Management of IT) were also intended to understand how technologies can support the tactical training of soccer players. Since then, my involvement in soccer was redirected to study decision-making, tactics, cognition, training and how to best help them to learn. This new focus opened new horizons from Brazil to Portugal, always aiming to fully understand the tactical component of high performance soccer. These experiences offered many acquaintances and the exchange of many ideas in South America and Europe, as well as the opportunity to learn up to 6 languages.
My contribution to the area of Sport Sciences and Coaching of young age levels in soccer is to combine the design of representative games, and enhance it with psychological interventions such as verbalization exercises that help players understand their environment and make sound decisions. This interest stems from the latest concerns to develop great players, in both practical and scientific perspectives and will be develop in post-graduate study projects.
