I've wasted a great deal of time trying to copy others in photography - to see how a great shot has been done only to get frustrated that I can't achieve the same effect (probably because I can't use Photoshop). Only recently did I start to open my mind and reach beyond the impossibly sharp images we're supposed to produce. There's a whole different world there...
