Due to a brain-hemorrhage, I'm disabled for more than 80%. My right side is paralized, so I have only my left hand to lift and operate my camera. This hinders my ability to take pics tremendously: I can't use a tripod, all of my pics must be taken on their head, all of my pics need to be next to a paved road, I can't focus, I can't offer my camera stability when I take a pic and all of my pics lack sharpness due to the latter. But there's nothing I can do to improve these drawbacks.
I make only Hdrs with the aid of the Hdr-program Photomatix and I try to hide most of technical limitations.
My pics are much more inspired by the world of the European comic-books (Sokal, Pratt, Manara, Herman, Andreas, W Vandersteen, J Nys, A-P Duchateau, Rosinski and many others) than by pictures taken by actual photographers.
Because I'm wheelchair depended, all of my pics come from Lier or its immediate surroundings in Flanders, Europe. Nothing good came ever out of Belgium and nothing ever will.
