Barbara Bezina is a recognized self-taught visual artist and outstanding digital artist. Hermit, lonely and far from social life. Surrounded by different types of trees and plants, mountains, an intense sun, route 40, cats ♥, birds, insects and a lot of art.
The originality and beauty of her works appears when she mixes her photography, painting and drawing with digital tools. It’s very important for her to manage colours and combinations, as well as tones and textures. Her way of working is very free and intuitive, always experimenting and looking for new ways or tools that renew something or change everything. The main themes are women, mostly self-portraits that are mutating into images that can upset the viewer. Can express the light, darkness, spirits, energies, elements, dreams, visions, in a mystical and acute way. She manages to convey an intense feeling of discomfort caused by deep gazes, strange beings and atmospheres charged with a certain tension. She says that her works are memories of the future, that they are somewhere and need to get outside.
She has participated in many exhibitions in Argentina, Belgium, Denmark, Egypt, the United States, France, Greece, England, Italy, Mexico, Monaco and Sweden.
