Hope"Some people think that Babies are delivered by Storks, or found under Goosberry bushes. I arrived with my family having been thrown through a car window."It was a very normal February evening when we heard a car stop outside and then race away at high speed. Unusual given that we lived in a very small country lane with no through traffic at all. Our two dogs, Prudence and Groove, immediately started barking and ran outside to investigate, but it wasn't until about 10minutes later that we heard a small whimpering sound coming from the barn. Further investigation found a very small, very frightened puppy cowering behind an old chest of drawers in the barn. She was clearly terrified, and soon proved she had sharp teeth when we tried to help her out of her hiding place, but after a few minutes for her to calm down, Hope arrived in our kitchen, and has been with us ever since.She was clearly the unwanted Pup in the litter and had an umbilical hernia, wich made her impossible to sell as far as her breeder was concerned, so the breeder took the truly responsible decision to hurl her out of the car in a small country lane. Fortunately for us even at 7 weeks old her self preservation instinct was sharp enough to bring her to hide in our barn.Four years later our beloved Hope goes from strength to strength, and lives a life full of adventure. Being an amateur photographer I have decided to try and share what I can of our miracle dog's life and adventures.
