Worked with the 550D for years but have just upgraded to a Canon 7D Mark ll. My telephoto lens is the Canon 100-400 mm and my macro the Sigma 105 mm

My major interest is birds - both as photographic subjects and as research subjects. I also have an interest in hoverflies for which I purchased my macro lens. I work for the British Trust for Ornithology and I also do a lot of bird surveys and monitoring as well as having and 'A' permit to ring birds
