I started photography when I was 12 to record my friends and travels, sort of a keepsake record of my life. A hobbyist one could say, just something to do on the side, not really knowing what I was doing, (just point and shoot what I thought was a good picture.).
I have been a free-lance photographer since 1992 when I first started in this field. I created my small business (INVISION ENVOGUE ENTERTAINMENTS) in 2000 and have traveled from coast to coast in this great country taking photos for different people as well as events and venues. I have truly come to love and enjoy glamour photography and working with the different models that give me the inspiration to make such artistry possible.
The style of photography I use is based on the old film style in which much attention is paid to the information going into the camera itself and not the post-production of the image. Since the creation of digital photography many of photographers have gotten lost in the post production of their images and this has created what is basically called 'pro-amateurs' in the photography world. Most photographers are truly nothing more than 'media-arts specialist' since they spend more time editing and 'photoshoping' than actually taking pictures.
I like for my images to be as close to finished from the snap of the camera. that to me is what a photographer is, a person that truly knows his/her equipment and knows how to work within the elements and can push thresholds of imagination with a snap.
