Richard Marcus is a full time landscape and street artist based in Hollywood, Florida. At an early age he was inspired by his father, Neil Marcus, a Naval Officer and professional photographer, who currently exhibits internationally. At the age of 12, he earned recognition from numerous organizations, including the prestigious Long Island Camera Club and Camera Club of New York. After many years, and an illustrious career in the business world, Richard returned to his passion of creating art through the lens of his camera.
Richard has had the opportunity to work with some of the most talented photographers and photojournalists in the world. Studying under such artists as Trey Ratcliff and Serge Ramelli, Richard has honed his artistic skills, and focuses on capturing landscapes throughout the world.
In 2016, Richard was asked to represent his home city of Hollywood, Florida through a three month public exhibition at City Hall. His work is represented by numerous South Florida Galleries and Private Collections. In addition, his work is featured both online and in print by organizations in Greece, Italy, Ireland, Spain and Peru.
