MY SATISFACTORY AND SANGUINE LIFE:
I'm a recalcitrant guy, a defiant, stubborn and rebellious individual, and one that loves making photographs. And remember, photography is art, and art is subjective.
Having an irreverent eye is a godsend, and a penchant for using available light has often been the success of many images. Some say my photographs are absorbing and generous, others say I deceit spectators with a delicate and refined play of the imagination. I never cease to learn something new each day, and never tire of making photographs.
In US western gunslinger terms: 'shooting from the hip', whether it's journalism, fashion, art nude or portraiture, my intuitive course is to provide coherent, considered, constructed photographs that provide a frisson of exhilaration to entertain, amuse, inspire and awaken. If I don't it won't be from not trying. A sense of humour is a must, and a smile never costs a thing! Serendipity exists, and spontaneity and enthusiasm always wins the day.
What I hate: TOGs, whinging would be's, incompetent's, plaglarists, the incessant chatterists, pessimists, and those that cannot resist in passing judgement on photographs - what makes you think anyone really cares what your 'scoring' is. All artwork is subjective. Your view is immaterial. But if you feel the need... who am I to stop you. But it's ridiculous to assume your score has any control on anything.

I have been a member of YouPic since 21st August 2020 after receiving an invitation to join from Lisa. Now that enough time has elapsed I can observe the 'hits' and saved images I've uploaded. You can imagine how dejected I feel that now it is very clear that unless a photograph contains a naked female, a high number of hits is obviously never going to be accomplished.
All my hopes that YouPic would be different from many other online photographic gallery sites have been dashed. What a pity. My naivity to think other photographers would admire documentary/photojournalistic images just as much has been a rather silly hope. There are certainly a small handful of genuine photographers here, and I am grateful for their generous comments.
I continue, for the timebeing uloading images, but will eventually stop doing that soon I guess, even my whopping extensive back catalogue of photographs cannot run to providing sufficient nude women to titilate the members. Incidentally, I have noticed that many of the people gathering nude pics, seem only to have nature, animals or architecture images in their galleries. I think that may say a lot..
