I have been taking photographs for something over 65 years. For a time it was my profession, but now it is much more enjoyable as a hobby. I had the great privilege to know Ansel Adams in the late years of his life. I came to find out recently when the curator of Ansel's personal collection contacted me, that Ansel had several of my prints in his collection. These days I'm much more into the graphic in photographic than the photo part of it. I view my camera much as I used to use a sketchbook when I painted. The power of digital graphic tools are very enabling and I'm enjoying the journey.
I have found over the years that all I know about photography I have learned from my fellow photographers. To that end is why I share on sites like this. It is the exchange of photographic information that is my primary inspiration and I hope that those on the site will exchange that information with me. Show more
