I love taking photos..especially of nature and animals.From as far back as I can remember..before I ever took my first photo..I would look at the sun,as it was setting or rising,or simply shining through the trees .I was amazed with the moon...and facinated at the way it seemed to change so quickly as it would disappear behind the clouds and then reappear to light up the sky..I would look at a flower and close my eyes and try to remember the detail of it..I called this freezing the moment.. I was in awe of Rainbows as we well.I started out writing poems about the beauty I saw all around me..I was 9 at that time.I would always seek solace in the woods, or on a favorite rock I would sit on when I was feeling sad or lonesome..somehow I felt a deep connection to Nature .It was there I felt at peace...and the most at home..It was also at this time I felt I was never alone.It was as though I knew I had angels around me and that I would be okay no matter what happened to me, or around me. I was given a camera ...and was amazed That there was actually a way to freeze the moment and have it to keep..I can look at a photo and relive the moment regardless of the time that had passed. Thats where it all started..I have had several different cameras throughout my life ..but never learned anything about proper focus..or lighting..etc..in this day and age of cellphones..I simply take my photos with it.I most enjoy making slideshows or videos with my photos...and occasionally adding text to my photos...My dream as a child was to put my poems and photos together..and make them into the posters like the ones I had covering my walls..I have yet to do that but have the desire still.I could go on and on..but bottom line is....God is the Artist.He Creates it..I capture it..As an expression of gratitude.
