We devote ourselves to buildings beyond the former use and capture the beauty in decay. Nothing is staged by us, we photograph the places as we find them and only use the light prevailing at the time of our stay there. These places touch us and the longing to find more of forgotten places, to explore them and contribute their stories to the world.
Most unnoticed and hidden - all these places exist in addition to the fast-moving present. Our works should immediately draw the viewer in other times, past eras. Sometimes surrounded by forests, sometimes also right on our doorstep. As time capsules these places preserve their history and former life like in parallel worlds. They develop a unique aesthetic - an aesthetic of absence. Show more
