Yes, I am using an iPhone and I have no formal training along with being brand new to this wonderful world of photography…but...I'm trying.
I'm passionate and I love what I'm doing. This is my art and my way of sharing, I'm not trying to compete with the Nikon's and Canon's and all the amazing "real" photographers on here but truly to share what I see with the only method I have right now.
I am always receptive to helpful criticism and love the comments of others who have so much more experience and expertise than i do. I thank you in advance for allowing me to enter your world knowing I'm doing the best I can for now. Give me time as I learn and improve from just doing and listening and using “my eye and vision”.
I realize I will never achieve the quality from an iPhone comparable to that of a true camera but this is what I have to use for now so respect that I do the best with what I have and that’s what I’m sharing.
One additional comment. I am an elite masters runner that takes my phone/camera with me as I train on the beach for my sport. This allows me the ability to capture a wider array of sights along my journey. I may give up quality of the photo by doing this but it works well with my lifestyle and hopefully my creative vision and eye will make up for what my equipment lacks.
One more comment if you don’t mind… I am a very sensual person… that means I tend to make photos that show my sensual side. But that does not ask for comments privately or otherwise that take it out of context. This is a form of art. The human body is beautiful and a wonderful subject matter. I love making beautiful art but not at the expense of comments that take away the point of beauty. I appreciate tasteful compliments but please save the others and realize we as women don’t appreciate that. Thank you for your understanding and respect.
